Are you annoyed that celestial bodies "migrate" quickly out of the field of view of your telescope and it shakes when you touch it to bring it back into the field of view?! If so, the Clockworker is the solution to this problem: it makes your time with the telescope even more comfortable by allowing your telescope to automatically "follow" the object you have set.
Two types of clockwork are available for the EQ-2 mount: a simple DC motorized version and a stepper motorized version. The stepper motor version allows 2x and 4x star speed correction on the RA axis using a hand control. In addition, it provides the possibility to switch between motorized and manual fine adjustment by means of a clutch solution. The DC motor version lacks these "extras".
The DC motor control can be operated from 1 9V battery, the stepper motor version from 4 goliath batteries (which can be stored in a handy storage bag) or from an external 6V power supply. Batteries not included.
