The Celestron Ultima's 80 mm diameter objective lens provides remarkably clear images not only in daylight but also in twilight. Thanks to its particularly high-quality anti-reflection coatings, its image is more colourful than its competitors. The zoom eyepiece included in the basic package allows quick adjustment between 20x and 60x magnifications - just twist the side and in one movement you can get up close to, for example, a bird's colourful plumage or a deer's antlers. The eyepiece features a T2 thread, which allows you to mount SLR or mirrorless cameras with the optional T2 adapter ring.

Don't you love a product made from durable materials? We have good news: the housing is made of aluminium, which guarantees lightweight yet long-lasting use. In addition, the prism housing has extra protection in the form of a rubber coating. Its waterproof construction makes it robust and we recommend it for field work.

Small size and weight ensure comfortable portability, with the included carrying case providing great assistance. Our customers particularly like the fact that the bag is designed to allow the telescope attached to be carried (not standard on other products.) The bottom has a built-in tripod adapter for easy mounting on a tripod.

The Celestron Ultima 80 is available in two versions: the 45° version is primarily recommended for birding, as you need to look slightly upwards to capture birds flying through trees. The upright model is preferred by hunters when looking down from the firelight.
