The Cayer Quick Release Plate is a compatible plate for the Cayer FP2450H6 tripod, designed for securing various devices.
If we lose our quick release plate, there is no need to part with the entire tripod; we only need to acquire a new quick release plate. Additionally, a separately purchasable quick release plate is useful if we want to use multiple devices interchangeably on the same tripod. In such cases, it is practical to equip our devices with individual quick release plates. For example, spotting scopes, video cameras, cameras, night vision devices, thermal cameras, binoculars, etc.
The quick release plate can be used with the standard 1/4" tripod thread and the less common but also widespread 3/4" tripod thread. Larger spotting scopes, due to their length and weight, can sometimes easily loosen the screw connection. The Cayer Quick Release Plate includes a safety pin that protects our spotting scopes from loosening.
