The Bresser WiFi 1080P Digital LCD Microscope offers everything you would expect from a powerful mid-range device—and even more. It is ideal for educational and hobby use, while also performing well in technical applications, inspection and measurement tasks.
Convenient LCD Display
The large 17.8 cm touchscreen display ensures comfortable operation. The microscope head can be tilted over a wide range, allowing several people to view the display comfortably at the same time. Optical magnification is adjustable from 2× to 44×, complemented by 1–8× digital zoom. The included remote control allows images to be captured without touching the device, preventing image blur caused by movement. The built-in software offers numerous adjustment options, including measurement functions and picture-in-picture mode. The menu can be conveniently operated using the buttons on the device or the included mouse.
Versatile Connectivity Options
The microscope's HDMI output allows its image to be viewed on a large-screen television. It can also be used with an Android or iOS tablet or smartphone via WiFi connection. Via its USB connection, it can be connected to a PC to view the camera image. Recordings can be saved to the included 32 GB microSD card, and the device supports cards with capacities of up to 64 GB.
The desktop stand provides stable support, allowing precise focus adjustment even at high magnification. The included 100 mm extension column also enables the examination of larger objects. The minimum object distance is 20 mm, while the maximum working distance with the stand is 195 mm. Without the stand, there is practically no upper limit to its use. The device can be powered using the included mains adapter, or optionally with an 18650 battery, making it suitable for fieldwork as well.
The microscope features two types of illumination: at high magnification, LEDs built around the optics provide adequate light, while at lower magnification, the flexible gooseneck spot illumination can be used. The brightness of both light sources is adjustable.
