The 1.25" barrel features a filter thread, while a fold-down rubber eyecup ensures comfortable use. The standard four-element Plössl optical design delivers better image quality than Barium eyepieces—especially in faster telescopes—at only a slightly higher price. Anti-reflection coatings applied to all surfaces are a standard feature of these eyepieces. They offer an apparent field of view of approximately 50°.
