With the photo tripod head adapter, photographic ball heads (or other photo heads with a 3/8" thread) can be mounted onto Vixen-compatible mounts using the 3/8" thread on top.
Especially recommended for portable travel mounts, but it is also compatible with other Vixen-compatible mounts:
- Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer 2i WiFi mount
- Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Mini mount
- Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi mount
- Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer GTi mount
- Sky-Watcher AZ-GTiX
Most modern cameras, especially smaller ones, use the smaller 1/4" tripod thread. If you wish to use a device with a 1/4" thread, a thread adapter will be required. The adapter has a diameter of 58 mm, and the dovetail bar section is 50 mm long.
