The Baader Solar Continuum 7.5 nm is a very special solar filter designed to help observe surface granulation and the structural details of sunspots. It has a transmission band around 540 nm and enhances the solar surface contrast and reduces the effects of atmospheric turbulence. It is recommended primarily for photographic observation, but is also a good choice for visual observation. Use only in conjunction with other solar filtering devices (Herschel prism, solar filter, etc.)!
