The Baader orthoscopic eyepieces offer excellent imaging and contrast. This set is recommended primarily for lunar and planetary observation, but the longer focal length eyepieces can also be used for deep-sky observation. With the eyepiece turret you can achieve up to 8 magnifications in one quick rotation. For maximum light transmission, the eyepieces have an anti-reflection coating. The edge of the lenses are painted matte black, which further reduces reflections inside the eyepiece. The recessed vulcanized design makes viewing easier and more comfortable, while the retractable rubber eyecups prevent stray light from entering the eyepiece. The Baader orthos are parfocal with each other, meaning there is little or no need to adjust focus when switching eyepieces. Their field of view, unlike most orthoscopic eyepieces, is 50 degrees rather than 40-45 degrees.
The Baader Q-Turret Eyepiece Revolver Kit includes: 3 pieces of orthoscopic eyepieces (18 mm, 10 mm, 6 mm) and a Baader Plössl eyepiece (32 mm), and the kit includes a Baader Q-Turret Barlow lens with 2.25x and 1.3x stretch. Each eyepiece fits into a 1.25" eyecup.
Practically usable with almost all types of telescopes (refractors, Schmidt-Cassegrain, EHD, ACF, Makasutov Cassegrain and Newtonian).
