Baader photographic RGB filters enable monochrome cameras to produce colour composite images. Their transmission characteristics have been optimised for CMOS cameras, but they can also be used with CCD cameras.
Baader paid meticulous attention to every detail when developing the Baader L-RGB photographic CMOS filter set for new, ultra-sensitive CMOS cameras. CMOS cameras are particularly sensitive to reflections and flare, making it necessary to develop newly designed L-RGB filters featuring special Reflex-Blocker anti-reflection coatings. Naturally, the edges of the filter glass are also blackened to prevent flare. What is more, a special feature of these filters is that their edges are polished and rounded before the coatings are applied, preventing moisture from penetrating between the filter layers. This greatly extends their service life, while the Life-Coat coating makes the filter surfaces exceptionally durable.
The transmission characteristics of the Baader L-RGB photographic CMOS filter set have been tailored to the specific requirements of CMOS cameras. With this set of 4 filters, you will obtain a completely colour-accurate image with correct tonal rendition: the object will appear in your digital images in colours as if viewed with the naked eye. The manufacturer also ensured that no refocusing is required when switching between the four filters, making them parfocal.
The filters are only 6 mm thick.
