The Baader photographic RGB filters make monochrome cameras suitable for creating colour composite images. The filters are optimised for CMOS cameras, but can also be used with CCD cameras.
In creating the Baader L-RGB photographic CMOS filter set for the new super-sensitive CMOS cameras, the manufacturer has paid maximum attention to detail. CMOS cameras are highly sensitive to reflections and flare, which is why it was necessary to create a new design of L-RGB filters with special anti-reflection coatings Reflex-Blocker. Naturally, the edges of the lenses were also painted black so they would not cause flare. What's more, the filter design is unique in that the edges are polished before the coatings are applied, preventing condensation from penetrating the filter layers, which multiplies its lifetime, and the Life-Coat coating makes the filter surfaces particularly resistant.
The transmission characteristics of the Baader L-RGB Photographic CMOS Filter Set have been adapted to the specific characteristics of CMOS cameras, and with the set of 4 filters you will get fully colour-accurate and tonally flat images: the digital images you take will reveal the object in the same colours as if you were seeing it with the naked eye. The four filters have been designed so that you don't have to adjust the sharpness when changing filters, so they are parfocal.
The filters are just 6 mm thin.
