Baader photographic RGB filters enable monochrome cameras to create colour composite images. The filters are optimised for the transmission characteristics of CMOS cameras, but can also be used with CCD cameras.
Baader paid meticulous attention to every detail when developing the Baader L-RGB photographic CMOS filter set for new, ultra-sensitive CMOS cameras. CMOS cameras are particularly susceptible to reflections and glare, which is why the newly designed L-RGB filters feature special Reflex-Blocker anti-reflection coatings. Naturally, the edges of the filter substrates are also blackened, preventing them from causing glare. Moreover, a special feature of the filters is that their edges are polished and rounded before the coatings are applied, preventing moisture from entering between the filter layers. This greatly extends their service life, while the Life-Coat coating makes the filter surfaces especially durable.
The transmission characteristics of the Baader L-RGB photographic CMOS filter set have been tailored to the specific requirements of CMOS cameras. Using the set of 4 filters, you will achieve a fully colour-accurate image with correct tonal reproduction: the captured digital images reveal objects in colours as if viewed with the naked eye. The manufacturer also ensured that there is no need to refocus when switching between the four filters, as they are parfocal.
The filters are only 6 mm thin.
