Baader colour filters are recommended for perfectionist planetary observers. Even a perfect objective lens cannot compensate for the image degradation caused by a low-quality filter placed in the optical path. Baader colour filters feature the highest-quality surface polishing, while the 7-layer anti-reflection coating reduces surface reflections to 0.25% per surface, minimising stray light that causes image softness.
