The Baader colour filters are recommended for perfectionist planetwatchers. It is useless to have a perfect lens if a low-quality filter in the light path spoils the resulting image. Baader filters feature the highest quality surface polishing, plus a 7-layer anti-reflection coating that reduces the amount of reflection per surface to 0.25%, which also minimises the amount of stray light that causes image softness.
Colours available: dark blue (max. transmittance at 435 nm); light blue (470 nm); green (500 nm); yellow (495 nm); orange (570 nm); red (610 nm).
Preferably recommended for visual observation only!
