It allows for nearly unparalleled image sharpness, contrast, and vibrant colors, especially when photographing deep-sky objects. We particularly recommend pairing the filter set with Astronomik's new L-1, L-2, or L-3 UV/IR filters.
During the design of the filter set, the main focus was on ensuring that its transmission curve aligns as closely as possible with modern sensors and the most important emission wavelengths, resulting in exceptionally good contrast and signal-to-noise ratio. An important consideration was to keep the size of stars as small as possible, enhancing the aesthetic quality of the image.
Like other Astronomik filters, the Deep-Sky RGB filter set is made from particularly durable and scratch-resistant glass, free from stresses and characterized by the most precisely crafted surface.
