The new Astronomik Deep-Sky RGB Filters are designed to bring out the maximum image quality from astronomical cameras. When designing the filter set, the main focus was on ensuring that its transmission curve is as well matched as possible to modern cameras and the main emission wavelengths, resulting in outstanding colour fidelity and signal-to-noise ratio. An important consideration was to keep the size of the stars as small as possible, increasing the aesthetics of the image.

As with the other Astronomik filters, the glass material of the Deep-Sky RGB filter set is extremely durable and scratch-resistant, free from stresses and with the most precise surface finish possible.
