The Askar Colour Magic C1 Duo Band filter targets the H-alpha and OIII emission lines, which are essential for observing interstellar gas nebulae and supernova remnants. The 2" size allows for easy integration into various astrophotography systems. Its advanced anti-reflective coating effectively minimizes unwanted reflections.
In the H-alpha range, the filter operates with a 15 nm bandwidth, delivering excellent performance at the 656.6 nm wavelength, highlighting hydrogen-rich regions. In the OIII range, with a 35 nm bandwidth, it collects information around the 500.7 nm wavelength, enabling detailed examination of planetary nebulae and other oxygen-rich objects.
