The Askar 0.8x reducer for the 120APO telescope is an essential accessory for astrophotography. On one hand, it increases the focal ratio of the Askar 120APO telescope to f/5.6, significantly reducing the time required for image capture. On the other hand, it corrects optical aberrations at the edges of the image, ensuring perfectly pinpoint star images across the entire field of view during image capture.
The reducer features a 44 mm image circle, making it perfectly suitable for full-frame cameras. On the camera side, M48, M54, and M68 threads are available, allowing for wide compatibility with various systems. With an M48 connection, the classic 55 mm sensor distance is achieved, which increases to 73 mm when using an M54 thread, and to 82 mm with an M68 thread.
