On one hand, it increases the focal ratio of the Askar 103APO telescope to f/4.08, significantly reducing the time required for image capture. On the other hand, it corrects optical aberrations at the edge of the image, ensuring perfectly pinpoint star images across the entire field of view during imaging.
The reducer features a 44 mm image circle, making it fully suitable for use with full-frame cameras. On the camera side, M48, M54, and M68 threads are available, allowing for broad compatibility with various systems. With an M48 connection, the classic 55 mm sensor distance is achieved, which increases to 73 mm when using an M54 thread, and to 82 mm with an M68 thread.
