The new Armytek Wizard C2 Magnet USB WR rechargeable pocket and headlamp is a special member of the Wizard series: a multifunctional light with adjustable white and red output levels and serious performance. It is an excellent choice for fieldwork, hiking, fishing, hunting, and even as an astronomy observation light. Thanks to the headband and easily removable belt clip included in the standard package, the light can be attached to numerous points on the body. Its flat base also allows it to be placed on horizontal surfaces, while its magnetic base attaches to steel surfaces, keeping both hands free. Thanks to the new development, runtime has increased significantly: in the new model, maximum runtime at full output has been extended from 1 hour to 2.5 hours, while at the lowest output level (in red mode), runtime has increased from 15 days to 2 months.
Two different LEDs are required for the two colours: 2 x XD16 (white) + 2 x XQE (red). The high-performance 1100-lumen LED provides maximum output to illuminate the surroundings up to 98 m away, while its 230-lumen red light reaches up to 41 m. Its TIR optics provide a narrower 70° spot beam while the wider 120° beam angle keeps the surrounding area visible without the distracting “tunnel vision effect”. The light is powered by one included 18650 Li-ion battery. The battery can be charged via standard USB using the included magnetic charging platform.
The robust construction and thoughtful design make the light exceptionally durable: according to the manufacturer, it can withstand drops from up to 10 metres. The highest IP68-rated dust and water protection ensures that the light can withstand submersion at depths of up to 10 m for up to 2 hours without damage.
The excellent ergonomics of the Armytek Wizard C2 Magnet USB WR headlamp are ensured by its two-piece headband made from non-slip material, which stays securely in place even during sports activities. The multicolour status indicator clearly displays the battery charge level and also warns of overheating.
