We thought the Armytek Prime was a great one, but now the manufacturer has come out with the Armytek Prime C2 Pro MAX Magnet USB Flashlight, which has a stunning increased brightness that exceeds all expectations.
The Prime C2 Pro MAX can tackle almost any terrain with its 4000 lumen LED, capable of illuminating up to 260 meters at maximum brightness. To provide this powerful light, Armytek has used a much more powerful 21700 Li-ion battery than the familiar 18650 battery, but has also made sure that the 18650 battery can be used with an adapter.
As we've come to expect from the manufacturer, this light is also a rugged, durable piece: it can withstand 10 meters of water for up to 5 hours when submerged in water, and will work even when dropped from a height of 10 meters. The light spread of the lamp also makes it optimal for search and rescue functions, as the narrow spot light cone is 12°, while the diffused light cone 72° angle, which illuminates the surroundings nicely, can illuminate a large area.
The advanced electronics provide 10 modes, including survival light, self-defence and emergency strobe, three of which are available.
The magnetic charging platform establishes a fast and strong connection to the light, and the charger's universal USB connection allows it to be operated with a wide range of external chargers. Notably, the magnetic platform is not only handy because you don't have to remove the battery from the lamp to charge it, but it also means that the insulating O-rings and sealing silicone grease will wear out much later.
