These Amici prisms are recommended for use with binoculars with a lens, Schmidt and Makasutov-Cassegrain telescopes, where it is important that the image seen is laterally upright. They are primarily useful for daytime nature observation, and are not recommended for astronomical use, as they give a lower quality image than zenith mirrors.
Newtonian telescopes should not be used as an accessory!
