Microscope cameras often have a smaller field of view than the image seen through an eyepiece, thanks to their small sensor. By using the ToupTek 0.5x reducer lens, the available field of view can be significantly increased, although the resolution of the image is reduced.
The reducer lens has a c-mount thread for camera attachment. It can also be mounted in front of ToupCam cameras that fit into the 23.2 mm shutter, but the appropriate c-mount adapter (#02235) is required.
The Touptec 0.5x reducer lens can be placed in a 23.2 mm eyepiece mount; if your microscope eyepiece mount is 30 or 30.5 mm in diameter, the appropriate adapter ring is required.
