The Svbony UHC filter (1.25") is one of the most popular, effective light pollution reduction filters, which can be used both visually and photograhically.
The UHC filter blocks the harmful effects of light pollution to a certain extent, making the sky appear darker and improving the visibility of nebulae (e.g.:Veil Nebula, Orion Nebula) significantly by transmitting the radiation they emit.
Unfortunately, no filter can completely replace a sky free of rural light pollution, but with UHC filters, you will get a much more contrasty, visual experience. Emission nebulae, planetary nebulae and supernova remnants can reveal details that would not be visible without a filter, or only from a very dark sky.
If your telescope is larger than 20 cm in diameter, an OIII filter is recommended.
Don't be fooled by the low price, as Svbony's UHC filters are made from high quality materials and are precision engineered.
The product is protected from damage and dirt by a sponge-lined filter box.
