Svbony SV705 color camera (Sony IMX585 szenzor)

Sony's image sensors have been proven in many desktop camera manufacturers' products, and the Svbony SV705 colour camera is no exception in terms of quality. The camera is equally suited to shooting solar, lunar and planetary video, as well as long exposure sequences of faint depth-of-field objects.

The heart of the camera is the back-illuminated Sony IMX585 sensor, which features 8.3 megapixels (3856 x 2160 pixels) resolution with a 2.9 micron pixel size. It records at 45 FPS (frames per second) at full resolution when shooting planetary video. The camera supports the use of ROI, for example at 1920 x 1080 resolution this goes up to 187 FPS, which significantly increases the quality of the final image. To ensure that this amount of data is transferred unimpeded to your computer, a high-speed USB 3.0 port and 128 Mb of memory buffer are built into the camera.

The Svbony SV705 color camera's QE~90 sensitivity is considered a very high value, handling long exposure times well while the Amp Glow effect has been completely eliminated by SONY.

The more spectacular celestial objects in our solar system and the brighter deep-sky objects EAA (digital group observing) astronomy can also be used with the camera.

The frame of the instrument has a 1/4"standard tripod mounting hole. It is powered via the USB 3.0 connector.It can also be used as a guide camera thanks to its ST4 port.
