The Svbony SV605CC colour cooled camera features the same SONY sensor as the ZWO ASI 533 MC Pro colour cooled camera, but at a much lower price point, you get the image quality of the top-quality back-illuminated SONY CMOS sensor.
In contrast to mono cameras, colour, so-called "single shot" cameras simplify the work of those who do not want to shoot with L-RGB colour filtering, as colour shots require a fraction of the work and time of mono (faux-colour) shots.
The IMX533, a 16mm diagonal 9 megapixel sensor from SONY , consists of 3.76 micron pixels. The square shaped sensor aperture is particularly advantageous for capturing the sun and moon, and provides free composition for other types of objects. The larger pixel size, with its huge sensitivity (QE>80%), promises outstanding performance in deep-sky photography

The Svbony SV605CC color-cooled camera features a two-stage adjustable, high-performance Peltier cooler that can keep the sensor 30° below the outside temperature. The noise-reducing effect of the cooling also helps capture fine details of galaxies.
Built-in 256 DDRIII memory improves data transfer security and reduces the sensor's so-called "amp-glow" glare. The camera's USB 3.0 connector enables much higher image transfer speeds than the USB 2.0 standard. This allows more shots to be captured in a given amount of time at a larger image size. A higher FPS (frames per second) can be achieved by using ROI, which is particularly useful for shooting the Sun, Moon and planets.
There are a number of free image capture software downloads available on the Internet, but for Windows we recommend SharpCap and FireCapture.
The camera is easy to use under Windows operating systems, but also supports Linux, Macintosh, etc.
The camera is cooled by a 12V supply voltage, with a minimum of 5A recommended by the manufacturer, as marked on the back of the camera at the connection.
