The SkyWatcher 0.9x focus reducer/corrector increases the efficiency and image quality of Evolux binoculars: by reducing the focus, the required exposure times can be reduced by about 20% and the field of view significantly increased. An additional advantage is that optical errors at the edge of the field of view are also reduced.
Since the image plane characteristics of apochromatic telescopes depend significantly on the diameter and brightness of the optics, different reducers are required for different models. Camera mounting requires the use of an M48 ring. The package includes a camera rotator.
