The Optolong L-eNhance narrow band filter is specially designed for use with colour astronomy cameras and DSLRs. It is essentially several narrow-band filters in one. It has 90% transmission in three wavelength ranges, H-beta, OIII and H-alpha. Most diffuse haze is "brightest" in these three bands. The narrow transmission range filters out light pollution and distracting moonlight, making it uniquely effective at reducing background light by 99% for urban astrophotographers
.
The filter has a narrow design and is only 5 mm thick (without thread). Made of high quality Schott glass, its surface is vapour coated with multiple layers of anti-reflective coatings.
The Optolong L-eNhance narrow band filter offers a real alternative for those who have a color camera but want to get shots similar to narrow band photos.
