The Nocpix Quest L35R by lnfi dual-eye thermal imaging rangefinder camera combines the convenience of a classic dual-eye rangefinder with the modern performance of a thermal imaging viewfinder. In addition to the sophisticated thermal imaging function, it also houses a laser rangefinder inside.
The Nocpix Quest L35R by lnfi dual-lens rangefinder thermal imaging camera is the smallest member of the Nocpix Quest family and already features a very sensitive (> 15 mk), sensor. This allows the thermal imager to detect heat sources of man-shape or similar size within a distance of 1800 m. This Nocpix thermal imaging camera also has a manual precision adjustment ring to aid focusing. The device uses a laser invisible to humans and animals for accurate distance measurement, with a range of 1000 metres.
The device's F0.9 luminosity optics collect almost 20% more light than the F1.0 (also considered very bright) thermal cameras on the market. The fixed-focus lens has a default magnification of 5x, which can be increased digitally up to 20x.
The 384 x 288 sensor is made up of 12 µ pixels, giving you an image with outstanding detail. The view captured by the device is displayed on a cold-resistant AMOLED sensor with an oval 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, similar in effect to a viewfinder lens. The distance between the two eyes can be comfortably adjusted to suit your own eyes, and the diopter can be varied within a wide range (+-5).
The advanced artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm used in the device modifies the thermal camera's image, giving you a more contrasty, detailed view even in deteriorating weather conditions.
Due to its longer detection distance and basic magnification, it is recommended for hunting use in open areas, for both small and large game. It is also suitable for asset protection purposes, such as remote observation, rescue and search work.
A wide range of settings is available, including different colour modes, hotspot highlights for quick detection, or cold/hot display tones. The PIP mode (picture-in-picture) lets you see a small magnified image at a time, without sacrificing the visual quality of the surroundings. You can also control the viewfinder thermal imaging camera from your smartphone via WiFi, and view or save your captured images. Not only can you capture still images, but also video (with its built-in microphone) and even audio. In addition to your phone, you can also store your pictures in the built-in 64Gb memory, from where you can easily transfer them to your computer.
The comfortable grip casing is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance, so it's ready to take on the harshest conditions. The thermal camera is powered by 1 18650 removable battery, two of which are included (popular batteries, so they are easily replaceable, unlike the type-specific batteries). If that wasn't enough, there's also optional external power via our USB-C connector. With its own battery, the Nocpix Quest dual thermal camera can run for approximately 6 hours.
