The Hikmicro Habrok 4K 2.0 HE25L 2.0 5.5-22x60 multi-spectrum binocular functions as a daytime digital spotting scope with color image, night vision, and thermal imaging with video and audio recording capabilities. Additionally, it can be used as a laser rangefinder with an accuracy of ±1m up to 1000 meters.
Changes in the 2.0 version compared to its predecessor:
- Interchangeable infrared illuminator unit, optionally usable with an 850 nm infrared illuminator.
- Switch designed for rear focus adjustment, allowing quick switching between night vision and thermal imaging modes.
- Built-in ballistic calculator aids in hunting.
- Effective image stabilizer ensures a steady image.
- The shutterless technology provides uninterrupted display, with no refresh interruptions.
- Additional minor changes affect the device's internal software, including two new color modes.
The Habrok 4K, combining practical features in a binocular spotting scope form, is a favorite among hunters but is also useful in various other fields due to the dual technology. For instance, in search and reconnaissance activities, the thermal imaging function can be prioritized, as it allows for scanning large areas in a short time. In rescue and security tasks, the night vision function can be more beneficial due to its more realistic image rendering.
The robust, ergonomic body has IP67 protection against dust and water, making it truly designed for fieldwork. It withstands extreme temperatures, operable in the range of -30°C to +55°C. The Hikmicro Habrok 4K 2.0 thermal imaging night vision monocular is powered by replaceable 18650 batteries, with four included upon purchase. The device can accept external power through a USB-C connection.
The night vision function is supported by an infrared illuminator built between the two optics of the spotting scope, and the laser rangefinder is also located here. According to the manufacturer, the device is effective up to 400 m with an 850 nm infrared illuminator, and up to 350 m with a 940 nm infrared illuminator. The advantage of the 940 nm type is that its light is invisible, while the 850 nm can illuminate slightly further. The new Habrok 4K 2.0's infrared illuminator is interchangeable and is sold with the 940 nm invisible light version by default.
The eye relief is comfortably adjustable between 60 - 74 mm. On both sides, the display images can be adjusted to individual eyesight with -5D to +3D diopter adjustment. As a thermal imager, it offers 5.5x - 22x magnification with a detection range of 12.2 - 1200 meters. These values, when used as a night vision device, range from 4.3 - 17x magnification and from 12 meters to 350 - 400 meters, depending on the type of infrared illuminator.
The Hikmicro Habrok 4K 2.0 features a FullHD 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution display, utilizing a OLED type with a unique rounded shape to enhance the natural view. Images and videos, including audio, can be recorded and saved to the built-in 64 GB storage. Files can be transferred to a smartphone or tablet via the HIKMICRO Sight app, which also allows remote control of the device.
The menu offers numerous useful features:
- PIP - picture-in-picture mode
- Digital compass
- GPS
- Four color modes for thermal images
- Three night vision modes (day, night, auto)
- Battery-saving standby mode
- Hotspot highlighting
- Etc.
