The Baader Morpheus eyepieces will attract the attention of the discerning amateur with their premium quality and huge field of view, all at a price point of under 100eFt. Similar to the Baader Hyperion series, the universal large 17.5-23 mm, they offer a very comfortable viewing comfort, but even more than the Hyperion series, their 76° field of view shows a much larger area of sky than the human eye can see without moving, opening up the sky, giving the user the much talked about "space walk" experience.
The eight-member lens system, arranged in five groups of eight, provides a sharp, colourless image across the entire field of view. Thanks to its ED and Lanthanum glass material lens systems and their type-matched Phantom Coating Group called anti-reflective coating, its light transmission and colour fidelity are outstanding. It is also ghost-free thanks to anti-reflective ribs.
The Baader Morpheus eyepieces are topped with M43x0.75 threads for mounting a variety of cameras and, like the eyepieces in the Hyperion series, have 2" and 1.25" mount options on the end. Thanks to the careful design, not only are they optically superior to their class, but the manufacturer has also paid attention to detail in their appearance, with rubberised ribs for a secure grip on the eyepieces, which weigh between 345g and 415g. What's more, their highly visible phosphorescent lettering at night makes them easy to identify in the dark.
The 55 mm tube diameter of the entire series makes it ideal for bino-viewing use. Included in the box are M43/M43 extension members, shielding eyecups, dust caps and protective covers.
