The Askar FMA135 f/4.5 apo tube is the smallest member of the Askar astrophotography lens range, with fantastic optical quality, and is a great entry for those looking for high quality images, but can also be used as a leading telescope.
Optics consist of three elements, with a low-dispersion ED lens designed to eliminate chromatic aberration (coloration) and achieve sharp images with rare contrast. The lightweight (280 g), short (113 mm) tube is well suited to traveling mechanics, offering the possibility of photographing huge fogs with its large field of view. Bright f/4.5 tube with three-member image plane corrector, does not change focus so brightness is not affected.
The Askar FMA135 f/4.5 apo tube's all-metal and glass combination of glass and classic black and red colour scheme makes it an eye-catching sight from the outside, but also a design that has been carefully considered for its practicality. The 30mm diameter lens is also capable of supporting an APS-C format sensor, with a T2 thread for connection. Its helical focusing system allows very precise focusing. The lens has a working distance (back focus) of 55 mm, making it easy to attach to most cameras, and with the included 1.25 mm eyepiece, it can even be used for wide-field detection with the included visual attachment.
You can also easily use filters with the tube, as the threaded dust cover on the lens also has a thread that accepts 1.25" standard filters. The tube ring of the lens can also be attached to a viewfinder mount and has a standard 1/4" tripod thread, allowing it to be mounted on a ball head.
